What are Transistors

Trasistor was developed by John Bardeen, Walter Bratain and William Shockley at the Bell Laboratories on December 23, 1947. The Word "Transistor" is short form of tranfer resistance. It is made up of semi conductors, it is used to control the amount of current or voltage used for modulation or switching of an electrical signal. The transistor is the primary building block of the microchips, including your CPU, and it is that component that creates binary 0's and 1's your computer uses to communicate.
